He started performing stand-up comedy in his hometown of Old Hickory, Tennessee in 2005. soon, he gained recognition in the local comedy circuit. After honing his skills at open mic nights and small shows across the South, Nate got the chance to move to Los Angeles and take his career to the next level. 

It was during this time that he started to build his fanbase and eventually joined the cast of “Live at Gotham,” a Comedy Central program featuring new and emerging comedians. Around this same time, he also released his debut album, “Yelled at by a Clown,” to favorable reviews.
